Only men exist in Japan’s history

At least according to this book title’s unfortunate English translation. I found this at one of Narita Airport Terminal 2’s bookstores, on a rack aimed at tourists leaving Japan.

The Japanese title actually only refers to representative nihonjin, which is ostensibly gender neutral, but the title graphic, which shows a sitting shogun, seems to suggest that the contents are only about people with the male genitalia (presumably all the people were cisgendered).
