What it takes to live in Japan for real

English audio.

Wanted to share a great video from Dogen, another one of my favorite Japan-based English-speaking vloggers, about living in Japan long term, looking like a foreigner in Kyushu, the best way to study spoken Japanese, dealing with people who want foreign friends as a gimmick, and how doing your own thing in Japan while reaping the benefits of living there, rather than forcing yourself into the values of a Japanese company, was, and is, the best way to live in Japan as a gaikokujin.
